Our Educators

Our Educators are selected for their level of competence, training and experience and their knowledge of early childhood development. They regularly participate In service training & hold current Senior First Aid, Epi Pen & Asthma Certificates. Our Educators show a commitment to high quality child care which values and supports the principals of the National Quality Framework and the code of Ethics of the Australian Early Childhood Association.

Qualification: Diploma of Children’s Services, Diploma of OSHC, Advanced Diploma of CC & currently enrolled in Bachelor of Early Childhood Education & Diploma in Business Management. I also got accepted in to the Enrichment Program for Leadership which I am really enjoying.

About Me: I live on a farm with my husband, & my little daughter Ella Jean, we have lots of horses, sheep, cows & chooks. I have a special cat called Miffani & two Labrador pups called Meg & Toby. I enjoy travelling, shopping, horse riding & scrapbooking.

Vision: To manage a successful centre which provides high quality care for children in a home like environment, where families are involved & children to feel secure. For children to develop into confident capable learners.

About me: I am an energetic and enthusiastic person who loves being with my three teenage Children (a son and twin girls). We enjoy spending our time as a family: camping, cooking, gardening, board games, playing soccer and horse riding. We live on a small hobby farm with our 5 horses, pet sheep, guinea pigs, cat, chickens and our beloved border collie Milly.

Vision: I enjoy working with all ages of children & strive to offer them stimulating programs that caters to their individual interests & needs. I believe it is important to develop a strong trusting relationship with families & enjoy sharing with them about their childs achievements through out the day. I am excited about implementing the new early learning frameworks in to our centre & believe it is important to offer children an enriching environment where there is meaningful play & they are respected as learners.

About me: I have a son called Jamie who is currently studying at Launceston College. I also have two dear little nieces, Maddi & Skye whom I am a very big part of their lives. I have worked at Glen Dhu Children’s Service since 2004. My hobbies include spending time with my families, gardening & renovating. I am looking forward to travelling and experiencing new adventures.

Vision: I believe that children should have play opportunities where they can discover, create and imagine. I aim to provide children with a supportive environment that promotes questioning and problem solving. Through intentional teaching, repetition, practice and scaffolding children’s current and emerging interests, needs and strength, all children can experience learning that builds success for life.

About me: I am happily married with two beautiful boys – Jordan 6 yrs and Max 11months. We love spending time together as a family, going fishing, camping, swimming, bike riding and visiting our friends and families.

Vision: I believe that all children deserve to feel safe, secure and supported so that they feel confident to be able to develop relationships, explore their environments, build independence and a positive self-identity. I believe that working closely with families ensures consistency and security which fosters a smooth transition between home and care and I feel that it is a privilege to be part of each child’s growth and development.

About me: I love travelling and seeing new places. I enjoy the simple things in life such as spending time with family and friends, coffee, food, being outdoors and going to the gym.

About me:
My family and I love to go camping with our two dogs on the weekends. We are often fishing, diving and snorkelling. During the summertime we love water sports, skiing, wakeboarding, knee boarding and watching the children laugh in the ski biscuit.

I am saving for a house with my partner and we currently live with 3 x family dogs and 5x family cats. My partner and I have a german shepherd called Samantha, she is like our child.

Vision for children: for children to be able to learn and explore in an environment where they feel safe and secure. I like knowing that I can be a part of the process where children feel their own personal needs can be met and nurtured so that they can achieve their own sense of belonging.
